    I thought this Yann guy leaving was going to secure our place in the Championship and was a great piece of business? Weird. Maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, in which case almost half of CL don't....

    Lots of players making their debuts away to one of the division's form teams and nearly held on for the win... would like to hear from those at the game but I feel quite optimistic. We will get better when the new guys bed in and we can add to the squad via the loan window. Bring on Birmingham.

    No would just be nice to see you get behind the team when we're 1-0 up... Its so easy to slag the team off when we lose but try being a bit positive...

    SUPPORTING a team means you get behind them it doesnt mean you only come out and slag them off when we lose!!

    It's not that the fans are not getting behind the team!its the fact that every time we go 1-0 up we get scared and sit back!it doesn't get you anywhere,it did in league 1 but not against quality teams like Wigan!

    Wouldn't have won even if Yann was still here.

    You can't beat a team like Wigan going 1-0 up in the first 5 mins and trying to hold that score going into the second half. Nervous changes by Powell, he needs to stop doing that shit.

    If anything Church should have come on. I would much rather lose with Church running round causing a threat than playing with 5 defenders. Joke.

    I didn't expect a win against Wigan anyway but if you compare how we played in the first half to the second it's disgraceful. They obviously got better but what was our excuse to let them run at us like that.

    The gap at the bottom looks too big for us already. You just know that we will capitulate at Millwall to keep them up and send ourselves down. You know it!

    Win today and with our games in Hand we could have caught Blackpool in 15th!! - Now we just need to win an additional match to do that :-)

    Probably. Reality is though Powell makes the wrong choices when it comes to subs. I want him here but if he does it again after today I'm gonna start getting fed up.

    Positives are that we gave one of the stronger sides in the championship a decent game (first half) and Reza seemed like he was having a go and Thuram sounded like he made some saves so no problem there. Also Nego was getting some good comments thrown his way.

    But we should never be parking the bus that early like that, ever. 2-0 lead 75 mins + fine. Until then should be attack, attack, attack.

    1 win in 11 are we supposed to be cock - a - hoop...I dont blame Powell, I blame the previous lot for not giving Powell some money to strengthen area's we were obviously weak in. Church and Sordell although not the answer only came a few days before the start of the season. This sort of managemnt by the directors has got to stop. If we had won today we would have been 1 win away for being in the mix, now its two games.
