Emergency loans?

I could be wrong but my understanding is that 7 days after the transfer window closes you can make emergency loans and there is a fair bit of movement of fringe Premiership players. This Daily Mail article from last Feb explains more:

I don't know if you can also get in overseas loans. Perhaps someone could let me know? Anyway I wonder if we'll be using the emergency loan rule to bring in some much needed extra strength to the squad? If so who do you think we could get?

    I'm sure we will, to fill the gaps in wide midfielders/wingers and maybe left back cover - no idea who though! The Gradel bid makes me optimistic we can get some quality in.
