    At the moment he is in better form than Townsend and Milner have been in over the last 4-6 weeks

    If him and Lallana don't get in the England squad, I would be disgusted. Been some of the best English players this season.

    Rated him since I saw him skin Luke Young, as a reserve for Downing, at The Valley years ago. At the time Young was in or on the verge of the England team.

    I really think you'd struggle to pick a World Cup squad Golfie, there are not 22 players you rate world wide let alone English qualified ones. In fact even if you picked with Large I doubt the two of you could manage it. Leave it to Jimmy Melrose and your Mum and Dad!

    Always had talent. Didn't look out of place when playing international football proved by him scoring a few goals.

    Gus Poyet seeing something in him and using him well. If he keeps this form up he deserves an England friendly to see if he can fit into the harmony of the team.

    If his performances rarely drop definitely take him. Roy would be a mug not to.

    Totally agree. Townsend isnt good enough for Tottenham, let alone England.

    With him, Townsend, Lallana and today, Oxlade Chamberlain all coming to the fore this season there will be some tough choices for Roy.

    Johnson can do things no other England player can and for that reason should go to the World Cup.
    Players like him and Wilshere are not typical England players - their technique is streets ahead of many of their "peers"

    Adam Johnson has nearly twice as many goals as Navas this season whilst playing in a side which creates a lot less chances in the same league.


    Not saying he is better but AJ can still play.

    England should play players who are in form. AJ has the best form an any English player at the moment and should be thought about seriously for the WC squad.

    If the squad call up was next week 100% should be there. But June is a long time away. IMO he will not be taken. Reckon him form will dry up soon.
