Piotr Parzyszek (born 8 September 1993 in Toruń, Poland)

EU player so assume clearance was no problem.

Thanks for the name ;-) but irrespective of nationality they need clearence from (I believe) the football association of the country that they are leaving.

Sue Parkes said on FB that his clearance didn't come through in time for last Saturday. Given that he was moving from Holland and the fact that they pretty much shut down for the weekend at 4pm, it isn't a surprise.

Feels like there's a lot riding on this guy being a success.

Definitely a gamble. Knows where the goal is alright and seems like an "English centre-forward"-type - two-footed, decent in the air, prepared to battle, but I wonder if he might be a bit slow. It's a leap from the Dutch 2nd division to the Championship, I just hope he can make it.
  • Love polish strikers hope he can follow in the footsteps of pavel abbott
    Remember that sweet overhead kick
Shame we were 3 or 4-0 nill down at the time
  • This was a shrewd move by RD as DeGraafschap have money troubles and he could pick him up on the cheap.
Not saying the player is the answer to are problems and the Dutch 2nd division is poor at best, but RD knows what clubs have no money, thats for sure.
  • I take it degraafschap has nothing to do with rd?

Doesn't look at all slow on YouTube. Quite excited by this lad.

I'd rather think about Lewandowski as another Polish striker :-)

He scores goals ( The Pole)
    He scores goals
Pete the Pole he scores goals.

    Altogether now.
  • I think vincenzo its not pressure being heaped on him

I think its a genuine excitement to have a real hot prospect wanted by benfica west ham and villa

But who seems so excited and driven to show us what he has and to really give his all

I can't wait to see his effort and desire

Erm , i thought it was Parsley?

  • Apparently pronounced Par-She-Shek but I think Parsley will be as close as we get!
  • Peter Parsley, Peter Parsley, where are you?

He wil lonly score the goals we need if we can supply them - we desperately need to bring in one or two who can help do that and fast!

He's certainly said all the right things, plus is young and prolific somewhere.

Will check with my Polish builders about the pronunciation in time for Saturday. Can't remember the last time I had so many new faces to look forward to. (But I suspect Pardew was involved).

I'd assume we have by now, it's not something that is usually announced.

Oh my God... I hope someone has told him that playing for Charlton he's not allowed to do that lol!

Only thing I'll say is he definitely wont be given that amount of space in the Championship

He'll definitely get less time space and chances in the Championship but if he's as good as we all hope he'll soon adapt his game to get goals. Cream always rises to the top.
