Church looked sheepish waiting his turn

After seeing Piotr just score poor Churchy was probably thinking... Christ they dont expect me to do that do they?

On another note... after Piotr's second goal you see someone standing in the distant background with a white training bib and florescent green boots... Is that Wiggins, just thinking if so that he'll be fit for Saturday maybe?

They've only been here a week so are naturally finishing their chances. Give them both a few weeks/months to become Charltonised and we'll soon be booing them.

Booing or selling, one of the two

Great stuff - could this be the front pairing that fires us to safety?

    I hope so!

Trying hard not to come across all Golfie like, but I won't get too excited over a short edited video. Youtube has caught me out before................

First we need to make sure they both see plenty of the ball in the box.

Who's going to supply the ammo?

  • Do people understand they will be marked on saturday?

In recent times I remember watching BWP in his pre match training blazing balls all over the place, so least this is a slight improvement. :P

Yeah, but only by the Birmingham defence.

Even when unmarked church still can't score!

Clever, well-timed release of a video; well-received communication; not one, but two, new, hungry, well-motivated strikers looking to impress.

Are we *sure* this is Charlton?
  • I enjoyed that but I'm more intrigued to know who the black guy is who runs with Reza at about 0:40, anyone know?

Unless Wiggins is playing, can't see too many of those crosses coming in on sat.

Green will start to supply pete
  • This may be of interest. Powell on the new signings. Talks about finding a system to get the best out of them.

If you look at who we brought in; 2 strikers, 1 attacking mid, young winger, an "attacking full-back", I'd like to think that means the bus parking routine at Wigan won't become the norm.

With 11 home games left out of the 19 he must feel that our Valley form is the key to staying up - to turn it around at home we will need to be much more attacking so hopefully we will see more performances like the Brighton game.

Why practice scoring from crosses when the only person who can do that is green who doesn't play better of just hoofing it over there heads for them to run onto

    Ever seen Nego play?
    Astrid?
    Koc?
    We might be pleasantly surprised

Like I said in a previous thread I am in no doubt that these two have the firepower to get us out of our current predicament. What concerns me more is a lack of supply from our piss poor midfield.

Good point. Although he did say earlier in the press conference to someone else that the pitch was still a concern and that the team had enjoyed playing away from home on better surfaces recently...

Wiggins has a great cross on him and so many of our chances come through him!
