    It's a shame you need a midfield behind them to supply 'em... we'll go fine if we have a strong young confident midfield, we don't have that

    Some Firepoweeeeeeeeeeeeer at last this season maybe. Feel a bit for Church - has put in a lot of shifts, so hope he gets some game time too.

    Maybe Church can get some gametime when we're guaranteed safety.

    His shifts haven't resulted in all that much.

    I think the poor bastrd's confidence is shot to pieces. He's quite a tidy footballer when he wants to be; just no end product at the moment. It's a shame really.

    Agree in principle Stonewall, but for most teams other than maybe top 6 in any div, you usually find an out and out scorer and a creative channel slogger - put Church in latter category. We haven't had the funds for the Bent, Mendonca type for a long while - don't think the blame should rest on the lad's shoulders to be fair.
