its him, same hair cut, unless he has a twin image

A substantial amount of boys/men have this haircut.

If you're basing it on the haircut you've narrowed it down to a few million possibilities :-)

Is this the same guy who scored in a live TV match (think it was his debut) for Wycombe and got booked for running over to celebrate with his mum?
Might be getting my memories in a muddle though..........

That was him thought the ref was a bit harsh.

Totally agree. Typical robot ref, leaving his common sense in the changing room...................
  • Crawley reported the Gradel bid and that we tried hard to make it happen, so I do think the intent was there.

    Ok cheers.

To be honest when I first saw it I thought it was Holmes-Dennis and the points people make about his height probably back that up

Well it's not like he's and unheard of player, he's featured for Liverpool's first team. Odd

Apart from this being illegal, it's pretty clear this is a powell style signing if it's true. Let go from the acadamy too soon and played a blinder against us in league one...

Don't think he is an academy 'product', to be fair he played for welling wanderers until he was 12 for Christ sake. prob had a 6 week trial like half of all school kids do nowadays.
Some players don't becoming half decent til they they are 16, let alone a worldy.
At the time the likes of Wycombe take the the leftovers and good luck to em.
Nothing to moan at on our part he isn't a cafc player.

Born in Bermondsey, South London,[3] Ibe signed as a 12 year old in 2007 for Wycombe Wanderers youth system, after his release from the Charlton Athletic youth system.[4]
I bow to the superior knowledge of probably.Wikipedia even though he played against my son on numerous occasions for welling wanderers.

I had a good knowledge of most above average kids at at that age group..

    Honest.

This is the lad who scored on his debut as a 15 year old for Wycombe in League One.

Was that when he ran over to his family in the home end & was booked ?

Or am I hallucinating again ....

Great marketing ploy by Roland, for those supporters with a bit more money to spend on putting a name on the back of the shirt there's ghoochannejhad, but for the more budget fan there's Ibe.

I wonder why we let him go.

Because we always let good players go and haven't the foresight to think a player might just develop.
I take it you wont be going to the fifth round of the Youth Cup on Tuesday against Arsenal or cheer on Cousins and Poyet tomorrow?

How can you come out with a comment like that when we have consistently been one of the best academies for years

Cousins won't play!!! And very unlikely that Poyet will too!

Maybe Sir Chrissy was thinking about the youth game? Cousins will almost certainly start tomorrow in the game against Birmingham and Poyet will most likely start or be on the bench - they wont be playing in the youth team though

Think you might need to reread that.
