I believe this week's "When Saturday Comes" will be featuring an article on RD as well.

Cheers for the heads up, with VotV out this weekend too there's lots of top reading for Addicks over the next few days.

The ACV article in TNT in particular is a stonker.

stonker might be overselling it a little, lots going on on Sat too bit of a party feel for the Trust stall, hope it doesn't rain too much.. anyway a lot of effort goes into this so I hope people like it.

We do try and avoid clashing with VOTV just so fans don't have too much to read, but couldn't on this occasion.

Yes, just to confirm that as Razil says we discussed this but given the way the fixtures fell - and especially the uncertainty over Jan 25th - it couldn't be avoided. Although there will be some overlap, I personally feel the two are complementary rather than in competition.

Someone needs to teach that Dixon bloke how to spell Parzyszek.

Or VOTV needs to get a new proof reader

I know it's the last thing anyone wants to talk about after today's debacle - but did anyone manage to pick up a copy today ?

Where did you reckon ? What did you like ? What would you like to see ?

Got a copy, barely glanced at it yet. My priority reading after a matchday defeat is to catch up with the machinations on here, then it's the programme. Fanzines come later.

Well done for your on-pitch speech. Hopefully no-one can say that they aren't aware now (though I bet they do).

Serious question, and one I've pondered for a while but never mentioned before. Does the Trust have the right name? I was thinking that when you were on the pitch talking about "The Trust" it seems to me that there's considerable room for confusion with the Community Trust.

I read mine cover to cover last night - congratulations to the Trust, it is an excellent read.

I started to read it then spotted the full size picture of Powell and thought what a joke. Left it in the bin with lots of others.
Should the Trust not be representative of all supporters?

That's exactly what it is Vincent. There were some very good factual articles for some and a bit of light hearted fun for others. Perhaps if you had bothered to read on you would have realised this.

No it is not.. I want CP to be sacked for the long term benefit of the club and so do a lot of Charlton supporters. I am much more interested on what is happening on the pitch than what is going on behind the scenes.

I'm sure that the Trust guys try their very best to be representative of the majority, but if they only produced a magazine containing stuff that is got the full agreement of every Charlton supporter, they'd have a publication that contained precisely nothing.

Like it or not (and clearly you don't), Chris Powell is still the figurehead of our club.

Have you visited the supporters Trust stall behind the north stand? You don't have to be a paid member to have your say, you just need to fill in a survey.

For the trust to be affective it is important that they know the views of all supporters regardless of social background and if they think that most if not everyone is still behind CP then IMHO they have got it wrong.
I make no secret of the rack I want Powell to be sacked and know he still as the backing from some of our supporters so as far as I am concerned the trust should be neutral on this topic.

Vincent it seems that you only want to read what YOU want to hear - others have different views. As much as I respect CP, I too believe that his time may be at an end, but to dismiss a publication just because there is a cut out mask of him and not to bother reading what else the Trust has to say is a bit silly.

Nice touch to give away the mags for free. Not had time to read it yet. Thought the interview on the pitch was a missed opportunity. No criticism intended as it is a nerve racking thing to do at the best of times but folk like my mate who is not a message board user knows sod all about the trust and he was no better informed after the interview. A properly prepared one minute spiel would have been very effective. Meant to be a supportive observation rather than a dig so please don't take it as one.

The Trust has carried out numerous surveys, and questions regarding CP have featured in several of them. Because of that, it knows what the fanbase thinks, better than you do. That is not a put-down, but simply a fact.

We gave out 2000 copies at the ground yesterday, but we still have about 500. We are hoping to have them available at the FA Youth Cup game when and where it happens and maybe up at Sheffield. The remainder will be on our stall behind the north stand for QPR.
If anyone would like one posted to them (free) please e mail secretary@castrust.org

Regarding the pitchside: we were denied any kind of stadium acv celebration under the last administration... To get what we did shows the difference in stance between then and now. Hopefully people can go to our stall, website, email us, read TNT to know more. We even tried to target the East stand a little more with TNT so Large's family might see it..

    :)
