It's definitely off.0
-
Why not give up home advantage and let the lads play at the Emirates, they would love it.1
-
Is the postponement and/or change of venue definite ? According to both the Arsenal & Charlton websites and the official FA Youth Cup website it is still at the Valley next Tuesday at 7pm.0

So, here's the latest, confirmed information on the FA Youth Cup. Hopefully this ties up any loose ends and clarifies the situation for everyone.
It either will (as per the OS) or will not (as above) be played on Tuesday or Wednesday, at The Valley or the Emirates or somewhere else.
Meanwhile, the draw for the Semi Final has been confirmed. Charlton or Arsenal or Sheffield United or Everton will play Derby County or Newcastle or Cardiff or Chelsea; for the right to play Reading or Accrington Stanley or Watford or Liverpool or Manchester City or Fulham or Huddersfield Town or Manchester United in the Final.4 -
That's clear then. At least we know exactly who we're playing up to the final. Who do we get in the final though?1

I rang the ticket office on Saturday morning re the Leicester game and, whilst on the line, asked about the FA Youth Cup tie to be told it was not now being played at the Valley. The person I spoke to, who to be clear was friendly and helpful, didn't know where the game will be played.Herbert_Chapman said:Is the postponement and/or change of venue definite ? However, if the Club doesn't make an announcement tomorrow there could be a lot of not very impressed people in the environs of the Valley on Tuesday evening.

Bugger, arranged to meet an Arsenal supporting mate for this, was looking forward to watching a Charlton team with a chance of winning at The Valley.

Oh, it might be because of the tube strike, my mate mentioned about getting back if it goes ahead. (Or it might be because our pitch can only handle one game a month)0
-
Sadly, think it's likely to be the latter, rananegra
Hopefully we'll have some definite news tomorrow as , like most, I need to plan our week.0 -
Very heavy rain forecast for Tueday so perhaps the club to not want to remove the Dome.0
-
It won't be at the Emirates on Wednesday as they have Man Utd!0
-
When are we likely to find out? I would like to come to this0

excellent. was on a course tomorrow night :-)0

Suspect it will be away from the Valley now.1

-
can't play on that pitch - need to protect it for the private hirers in May

We were going and looking forward to this so disappointed.0
-
Considering the run of home games we have in the next few weeks and the pitch needing all the recovery time possible between those games, it surely has to be moved to Arsenal0
