Yeah fair play to Green if he apologies.
    He is still sh** though.
  • Agreed, nobody is perfect.
  • Glad the club have apologised to the man that was wrongly accused, glad they are doing what they can to find the right person. I hate racists grrrr they get me mad.

Talking of which; to the erm..."person" that mentioned MY name on another forum full of mostly racists that I don't wish to be associated with (clue is it's NOT ITV or CL) please remove it immediately, if you have a problem with me contact me directly. Thank you.

He may not be our best player but Danny Green seems by all accounts to be a very decent bloke, both with fans and with his Demelza visits. All in all there's worse things to be good at

Young Lucy is in the last stages of a terminal illness, I'm sure any references to this beautiful young lady in addition to Opinions on Danny Greens footballing skills
    should be kept separate.

I saw her twitter account and it's the most heartbreaking thing I've ever read.

I'm not a Danny Green fan when it comes to football but top man for his relationship with that poor little girl.

It is VG, when you read about her and see the hysteria over the result of a game of football, personally I think a little perspective is needed.

Agreed T.C.E. I'm sure no-one on here was being nasty, but I make you right.

Taking instagram pictures of his dog

He has just ordered a canvas of his favourite trainer from my grandson TomClappArt, I think that is good.

Agree, the misfortune of that poor girl puts a shit football season into perspective.

In football there is always next season, in life there is sometimes not.

    Well done Danny Green.

well done Danny Green on two fronts. Obviously for visiting and caring about this young girl with a terminal illness, good on you. Secondly, at least he had the balls to stand up and point out someone giving another person racial abuse. OK, he got the wrong guy and I can understand how unfortunate it's been for him, but ultimately the Club will find the person responsible and rid the Club of him. Danny could have easily ignored it but didn't. Whatever faults he has as a footballer it seems he's a very decent human being.

I'd be more concerned about the bloke who was wrongly accused of being a racist.

Green did not get an innocent man arrested though did he? Green identified a racist in the crowd and by the time the 'hit squad' got the info Green was put on the pitch and into the game. Green could now not confirm who the right man was, so the hit squad, without knowing or having the option of confirming who the real culprit was just jumped in and snatched who they thouhht it was..

How do you know that?! Many people near by said Green openly pointed one man out specifically.

Wake up and accept that Green could of had a perfectly innocent man arrested.
But what about the real reprcussions..what if that innocent chap had got the sack? then couldn't pay his mortgage?

and how do know he didn't??

My friend was sitting right next to the steward when Green pointed it out and as soon as the wrong man got taken out he alerted the steward and said that they had got the wrong man. He then rang me me and said the same thing. I spoke to the club about this.

As for the innocent man getting the sack..?? Really..?? I think not, investigations by the club and the police, along with several credible statements by fans have cleared his good name and he has not got a criminal record because he was rightfully cleared of any wrong doing.

yeah, just after he rang you..

look, there are several sides to each story isn't there..?? I am just simply telling you what my friend told me who was sitting probably no more than 3 meters away from where Green was when he told the steward.

The biggest issue is why Green was watching the crowd and not the game
