id personally go for sordell, i think hes been quality this year for us
  • Wilson for me
  • I'd say Wilson at the moment and he still has a big part to play in the fight to stay up what with being one of the more experienced squad players left

Blimey, it's a sobering and sad thought when you realise none of the current side deserve POTY. Stevo would have walked it.

Have we ever had a "no-one this season" before?
  • Can we still vote for Yann?

This could be the weakest PotV award ever.

Who got it when we last got relegated ? Semedo ?

    Bailey

Definitely still up for grabs, but at the moment I'd probably go for Morrison.

Don't understand the Cousins love in personally - he hasn't stood out for me, and I think the 'Academy' factor is playing a huge part in people's impressions. Of course we all want him to succeed, but I can't help but think that if he'd come in on loan from Standard Liege he'd be getting a very different press. Ultimately, it's our midfield which has been the biggest problem this season IMO.

Of course he would, just look at Ajdarevic, but it's only taken a start in a home game and many are changing their mind.

We don't create enough chances but much of that is down to our poor options out wide. Stephens and Cousins made a good partnership.

Definitely Wilson atm, but he is still getting the abuse from certain sections of the crowd.

Will Jackson or Solly get it purely on being fans favourites?
  • Wilson POTY? What games are y'all watching? What drugs are you on? I must be on the wrong drugs FFS!
Two goals in one game do not a season make.
Late season form usually swings it so if JC stays in the side he'll probaby be favourite and based on him having a thankless, and virtually impossible, task he could well deserve it.
But the best player this season will have been Yann - I won't vote for anybody else.

My vote is Wilson. Can't believe Stephebs was in the running , I must be watching a different game to everyone else.
  • This thread really made me think about the lack of stand out performers this season. It's actually HARD to pick a POTY. If we voted tomorrow I'd pick Wilson for effort and versatility.

If it's being judged on effort and versatility surely church is a shoe in,

A striker that runs around like a nutter every game and plays like a natural defender when in scoring positions
