Do you have to be a member of the trust to read the minutes? My membership to the trust expires as of tomorrow, so if it is members only, can someone copy and paste it on here. Many thanks.0

No you won't have to be a member, and it will be on our site hopefully this morning,
RW will have been up all night with his quill trying to get it written up. It was a very full on 2 hours or so, and will be as full and frank as possible without breaching any confidences, pretty usual for this kind of meeting.
RM asked the room if it was OK that some comments stayed in the room and it was overwhelmingly agreed to get the full story you do need to go to the event.
We wanted cas trust coverage to go out to fans because it was the first meeting since the takeover etc. and hopefully staying true to the spirit of openness we all treasure from RM, while at the same time respecting his wishes so that he could be as open as he was during the meeting. My own view was that he was open to most questions and answered thoroughly.
So just like previous events there will be an account, and we'll post a link at least as soon as.0 -
Made me laugh as about half way through there was a coup of sorts with some suggesting it was a City Addicks meeting. Brenda was on excellent form and had to be berated once or twice to behave (bless)..0

I personally thought the bit about beckham and the tie up with miami was amazing yet I don't see how we can compete in both leagues at the same time
And I didn't realise that getting oxlade chamberline wouldn't affect his world cup hopes best loan signing ever who wouldve thought RD is his god father7 -
RM asked the room if it was OK that some comments stayed in the room and it was overwhelmingly agreed to get the full story you do need to go to the event.
That's a bit unfair for those like me just couldn't get to the meeting for geographical reasons ie you live 200 miles away.

It is unfair but you have to respect the wishes of the speaker if they have asked for things to be kept in the room, otherwise they won't be as open.Matt_francis87 said:RM asked the room if it was OK that some comments stayed in the room and it was overwhelmingly agreed to get the full story you do need to go to the event.

if anyone wants highlights of last night, i was following the tweets of @robontiod on twitter last night. he didnt go into detail or reveal any earth shattering news, but the basic outline of the meeting was on there.1

Yeah I totally understand its the wishes of the speaker at events like this but like I say unfair for those that can't getKap10 said:

Excellent evening and my thanks to those involved in organising it. Richard Murray (who I'd never met before) came across as a straight-talking yet genial, genuine supporter who continues to work very hard in the best interests of the club.
I too am encouraged about the future, although no doubt there will be some hairy times for a while (my view, not necessarily Mr Murray's!). In the meantime I, like the rest of you, shall focus my gaze on the loan market and on the FA Cup!0 -

It's easy to renew your membership on the CASTrust website (www.castrust.org) or at our stall behind the north stand before the QPR game. We hope you will !shirty5 said:Do you have to be a member of the trust to read the minutes? We held a minutes silence for Bernard last night - I thought it was quite moving, but I hope its something we don't have to do too often.2

why didn't HI go , we would have had a full write up of the meeting already , instead we might get a few flashback memories written down from the pissed mob as the day goes by1

Remember city Addicks a few years back and there was always one particular bloke who used to turn up a bit pissed late on ... Well that was me last night. To be fair Danny did try to put me off coming as he knew I was well on my way.razil said:Made me laugh as about half way through there was a coup of sorts with some suggesting it was a City Addicks meeting. Cheers for that write up, hopefully be able to make one of these myself sometime.
I had a positive outlook for the future but that just adds to it.
Bit at the end made me laugh as i have the same deal, not attending anything at the new Wembley for the first time until it is to see Charlton play.......................still gutted we never made it to the final of the paint trophy.0 -
You had to be there, I think a loud hailer needed for these things, luckily we had a radio micDRF said:

As a witness in Steve Kavanagh's claim and consequently someone who has been aware of the situation throughout, I can say categorically that it is not true this was settled prior to the takeover being announced.0

Thanks Razil and RW - an interesting report and good photos.0
