    we deffo need another RB in my opinion, if people have been underwhelmed with Nego. i dont think we can count on CS much, any appearances by him should be seen as a bonus.

    leon best would be decent enough if he comes with comittment. undoubted ability but can be a bit lazy. total unit in terms of ball retention though so would fit the style.

    becchio would be great and someone will loan him with right to buy im sure

    I agree, if Best is that good, why isn't he playing in the Blackburn team ? They are hardly smashing the goals in.

    According to SCP today, no players coming in soon. Although I suppose we have heard this before, but could be true this time.

    You are not going to get a free scoring striker in the form of his life. Why would clubs let them players go?


    You look to improve the 'Best' you can and Leon Best is an improvement of what come off the bench. Unless you are happy just to go down without taking a risk on loans. Every loan is a gamble because they wouldn't be going on loan otherwise.

    If we had competition for Leon Best I'm positive we will for the other two as well. Would a player choose us currently over a higher club?

    When I read on BBC Ceefax last night Charlton were interested in Leon Best guess I knew
    someone else would get in first (as Millwall with Simeon Jackson). Choked its Wednesday.
    Probably score against us now! Can things get more depressing!

    I genuinely think you maybe having a mid life Crisis ha, our new players have had 1 game playing together give them a chance and I'm sure Powell and rd are working on loans behind the scenes . And as for jensenwasclass being depressed we didn't get leon best I find hilarious , you guys need to calm down .

    I would imagine that when it comes to loans the player's preference, geographically, would be a major factor. Sheffield is closer to Blackburn and maybe he fancied a three month spell there rather than coming to London for the same period - especially if his family are not moving with him.

    Before the window we were in a poor position, now it is worse.
    I'm not happy that our principal source of recruitment is now via SL, but it seems some have bought into this, whilst others have simply resigned themselves to it.

    I'm assuming SCP is Chris Powell and he says that he is not expecting any loan players in soon and then a few hours later Richard Murray says that we will be signing 2-3 players.

    Ignoring a discussion about Powell's definition of 'soon' (I don't see the benefit of signing loan players in March or April) either we are signing loan players or we are not.

    didnt write him off and am hopeful he will cut the mustard. in any event, still need cover for RB.
