I think Church is doing well. Doesn't have shooting boots but he is strong and can hold the ball up. I think Reza out there would be too lightweight. Shame we can't clone both of 'em into one.

sorry Dizzee but he is putting in an absolute monster shift tonight, causing Llera all sorts of problems
  • Wednesday have been poor and they've had the pressure of this Sheffield derby but we've played well and should be more than 1-0

After seeing Leon Best in that half is anyone bothered we didnt get him now?

Think he's done well actually. And he's EXACTLY the sort of forward you want on defending a lead.
Agree. Being a right nuisance and a good outlet....but you just know he won't score unless 5 yards out!

He's got the beating of their defence though !!
  • Well done boys.......more of the same in the second half and nick another goal.....

What the f*** has Hamer got on his chin?

Looks like someone has glued a dead squirrel under his chin. Why doesn't he realise how much better he looks without that?

Hmmm yes, sounds a bit gay but it was in a very deep voice in my head

That last effort from Church was so poor, especially when the pass was on

Think we're going to have a very big problem with fitness in the final 30 minutes. Subs need to come early and not too defensive.
  • That was a real half of two halfs. We came out all guns blazing and got a well deserved lead as a result, however that last 20 minutes or so was real back to the walls stuff.

I reckon we have enough in us to take it up a gear and win this.

Also Llera is so slow he's making Church look like Usain Bolt.

Hamer & Fox look like extras from Oh! Brother Where Art Thou!
  • Lost our rhythm with that long injury, why didn't he go off? How can Powell leave Harriot out all season, the bloke is dangerous every time he gets the ball. Fantastic goal.

I think we just need to keep pushing up and attacking them. They look very poor when we've been on the front foot, but I do worry when we sit back. Good to see us getting stuck in, especially the "kids" who have shown early that they won't be knocked about - as Wendies often try to do.

Very impressed with the whole team, from Hamer playing well as a sweeper, to some lovely through balls from JJ to Church running his nuts off & causing Llera palpitations!!

Keep it up lads. Great 1st half effort!!

We lost the midfield the last 15 minutes of the half. Are we lying too deep? The first 30 we seemed to be pushing more and not giving them any time on the ball. Come on Chris, have a word.

Doesn't LLera look weird without his rugby hat on.

  • The long injury definitely put a dent in our tempo (reckon its why he stayed down so long cos he would have gone off had it been serious)

Harriott has looked much better of late... (Could be to do with the birth of his son) but hopefully it continues

Harriot is having a blinder but to be fair, I don't think he has shown tonight's form this season so far.

Hasn't been playing well this season to be fair. Seems to have his mojo back....long may it last!

Get off Churchys back. He's causing problems and holding the ball up.

Thuram could've saved all those shots ;-)
  • the ball needs to get played in AA a bit more, then out wide to harriott. no hoofball this half please

Not sure if this has been said elsewhere but Poyet really reminds me of Parker. All action and gets stuck in
  • We've looked ok really, some great moments. Some better decision making in the middle and some ability up top would be great. Hamer and back 4 been pretty good, perhaps a bit more composure on the ball needed, but the pitch is probably not at it's best.

He's done we'll to get in the right positions etc but he's done nothing with it but screw shots wide, so it's worthless at the end of the day.

Playing some quality football, might put a fiver on us reaching the playoffs.

All quite average longball football so far but ours is apparently more effective. However that was a great goal from Harriott
