Greetings from Dog Shit City (Marseille) where you tread in one turd as you try to avoid another steaming pile.
So if muck is luck, then I've done enough to ensure a point for the Addicks!

Must be something about France. We always call Boulogne, Boulogne-sur-Merde because of the filth on the streets.Oggy Red said:Greetings from Dog Shit City (Marseille) where you tread in one turd as you try to avoid another steaming pile.

Wrong thread Oggy, if you want to talk about dog shit there's already two threads, one on dogs the other on Millwall.Oggy Red said:Greetings from Dog Shit City (Marseille) where you tread in one turd as you try to avoid another steaming pile.

Good to see Harriot starting, hope he keeps up his good form and cements his place. Could be vital to the rest of the season.1

Every time I see a Leicester line-up against up I always get staggered by the strength, think we'll get tonked, and then we win! Another one of these situations would be great!
I would be over the moon with a draw and would be more than happy to see us bore the pants of every one in the ground for a 0-0 draw.
That will be 4 points in a week against first and fourth - that will be a fantastic effort.
That said, I'm not expecting anything as we have no right to get points from this game!! If we lose I just hope it's not a soul destroying mullering because there is a good air about CAFC at the moment!
COYR!

our goal difference is a lot better that Millwall's or Donny's, so as long as we don't let in 4 or 5 I'll be happy.1

Afternoon Red, afternoon all.
Well this time it is with regret that I say I intend to update from a Leicester City perspective, because at last we have our own excellent team on player reporting from a Charlton perspective, and basically showing BBC London, and some others, how it should be done.
I will be missing out on that today, but it still feels reasonable to report on a 'balance' so to speak. If the Leicester commentary is dreadful, then I will be happy to join Peter Finch et al, an excellent plan B for me anyway.
Apologies in advance for my slowness and typos, and difficulties in spelling.
I have only just finished watching Chris Powell from the Thursday pressday event. It felt good for me, but I am biased, I suggest all interested try to get a look at it, it will inform doubters and committed alike as to what kind of man is managing our club.
I watched it, and reflected on what isawalonsoscore of this parish wrote with regard to Chris Powell where he was baldly described him as 'dog s**t', and then again when people sneer about, how shall I put this delicately, 'unhealthy fawning' on Powell from those like me who support him 100%.
If the anti Powell brigade want to deliver reasoned comment about his work that is a good thing to do actually, but the haters, who personalise both their attacks on Powell, and their attacks on those who support him, please try to watch any interview with the man first, and then judge how much the bile weighs in, in comparison to Chris Powell's class.
We may lose today, may well lose, thought obviously I hope we don't, if the anti-Powellites then want to comment on the footballing management aspect of events fine. But please, out of respect for the man, out of respect for the club, out of respect for the whole range of fellow supporters, out of respect for yourself, please leave the personal snide bile out of the comments.10 -
Will it only take that to make you happy, Golfie?golfaddick said:our goal difference is a lot better that Millwall's or Donny's, so as long as we don't let in 4 or 5 I'll be happy.

That CAFC line-up looks nice.0

Afternoon Seth, thanks for the oppositions side of the game mate....always helps keep a balanced view. Agree with you on CP interview, I watched it about 30 mins ago.0

Seth, you don't have to be anti Powell just because you criticise him on occasions, but other than that, well said.1
