    I don't get the negativity.
    In 42 years of going down the Valley, I've never known such intense negativity as shown by our crowd in the past 2 or 3 years.

    Is it just the Charlton crowd or is it the modern disease?

    We've spent two/three seasons struggling in the Premiership and the expectation is that dropping a level means we should walk this league.

    Bear in mind we had a lot of personnel changes from last year to this and most of those players we acquired are not necessarily Premiership class. The fans are entitled to their opinion but we need a degree of realism that good teams gring out results.

    Hopefully 2-1 at HT can be turned around. According to the BBC we've had the majority of possession and we are playing at home.

    Lastly, Jimmy don't get in a grump, I enjoy your updates....
