    It's been happening quite a bit with (invasive species) Burmese Pythons attacking Gators in the Florida Everglades. The Yanks have come across several around 18 feet long - about twice the size of this one - and it's estimated there are about 180,000 of them now!
    I think I remember seeing photos of one that ate an alligator that was so big that it split the snake open.
