    Well when it comes to Charlton, I definitely follow them. I've never knowingly 'followed on' in my life.

    If you look at the Since I was Young hashtag on twitter (https://twitter.com/search?q=#SinceIWasYoung&src=hash) the number of other clubs who also use the song is incredible, form a quick look it seems as though almost every team in Scotland sing it as well as many in England.

    In the history of football chants, 'since I was young' has to be the most cringey. The lyrics barely make sense and then the chant peeters* out into a ohh-wa--aah-ohhh which lacks any direction and makes the tune seem incomplete.

    Please can we just stop singing it

    shit song, don't like the fact we only started singing it last season either, doesn't seem proper to me. Sing it anyway, reluctantly.

    Weird post.

    Anyway, it's quite easy to follow on, just in the same way you can carry on. I followed on, as in I started following CAFC when I was young and I've kept on following CAFC ever since. Through thick and thin.

    We sing Valley Floyd Rd too fast but there's nowt wrong with this tune.
