Fcuk it let's concentrate on cup.

What are we 4pts behind 4 games in hand? That easy.

I have never ever seen Charlton play at Wembley in the FA cup or even reach a semi final before so if we go down we go down. We will go back up again (next season). Will be a tough game tomorrow and we will have to be on our best to have a chance as Sheff Utd are going really well at the moment.

    Millwall winning. Horrible day.

Could be a massive weekend in terms of relegation if we do end up failing in our games in hand. Being bottom must affect the players mentally, even with the games in hand.

Or it might be a much needed wake up call to give it everything they have.
Or a wake up call to the owner.................. hmm maybe not

We should concentrate purely on the Cup and from now on put out weakened teams in the league.

Really cant understand how people on here would chose 90 mins at wembley getting spanked by the gooners or citeh and paying 40 quid for the pleasure then staying up..i must be the mental one i guess. Wembley is dooable at any time with the right owners and a fairwind. going down will be horrible and i doubt we would bounce straight back.

Just looked them up for the first time today. Couldn't believe my eyes. Still, if Millwall can win at Derby, so can we.

Same here. Was warned to have a stiff drink before casting my eyes over the scores which gave me an awful premonition of what was to come. Not a happy bunny at the moment.

Hopefully we won't do what Wigan did and win the cup and get relegated, but don't you think a good result tomorrow could give all the players a lift and help our survival?

There will be plenty of twists, turns and freak results. It's in our hands. Keep the faith. We will stay up.

This time next week we could be out of the relegation zone, celebrating at the Den and have a cup semi final to look forward to.

We've had more promotions than Wembley appearances Ad - I think they are more rare.

Let's say we win to-morrow. How many non-Cup-tied players who have so far thought they wouldn't fancy coming to Charlton on loan would then think "Um, if I go there and do well, I could be playing at Wembley."?

What? You would not want to win the FA Cup??? Mental. I would be delighted to win the cup and create history and go down. We would get back sooner or later. You can't put a price on us winning the Cup.
  • Let's wait till we are level on games before we start pushing panic buttons

Yeah. Cos it's only 67 years since that fairwind blew our way in the FA Cup.

I'm going to try to enjoy tomorrow even if your not.

I did not say I do not want to win the cup. I said I hoped we would not win the cup and go down.

In terms of future revenue, I'd say you can put a price on winning the cup, but I accept your sentiment.
  • Yeah a bit of a kick in the nuts , but its what WE DO that matters , our destiny is in our own hands.

That's football.. I'm sure the other clubs fans might be saying " I can't believe charlton won all their games in hand

You never know this is why we love football

That's what I get for buying a season ticket for next season this morning!!!!!!! I'm a feckin jinx!!!
  • Psychological blow going bottom. Losing tomorrow could be fatal to the morale needed to fight the relegation battle. That's both fans and players. Losing next Saturday is something I can't even think about.

I am travelling down from newcastle where I have lived for 2 years to watch the game tomorrow and I also travel back to South East London where I was born and bred many times a season to watch the team I love play at the highest level possible(i.e Championship at the moment)but anyone who would prefer cup glory to staying in the championship and hopefully attracting better players for next season all I can say is I hope you are enjoying looking at the table at the moment.
