not looking forward to it one bit.
  • Always look forward to seeing the eleven players in red on the pitch and regardless of whats happening in the background they should get our continued support

question is who will be the eleven on the pitch? can't see the reception being good if thuram and nego start in place of ben and lawrie.

But at the end of the day theyre registered Charlton players so shouldnt be criticised by the fans... Its not they've gone running to RD demanding that Powell be sacked cos they're not playing (that sort of thing couldnt be hushed up)

The club's bigger than one man and I can't help but get excited about any match Charlton play in. It's the space in between the games that's sour at the moment

We are Charlton. If we don't turn up, there is no Club.
    Simple as.

Can't make 3 of the next 4 games and am at a loss as to what to expect. Not a lot of change there then.

I woke up even more deflated to this news than I did yesterday morning but was not surprised.

This got me thinking - when WAS the last time I actually looked forward to a game? You know, I suppose it was the first game of the 2012/13 season, at Bournemouth. We were poor, had a man sent off and lost. Since then, frankly, going to matches has just become a habit and something to endure.
