Have a day off will you2
-
I know people are pissed off and will make it known, but i really don't think he will give a flying f**k.
St Liege supporters held a march and invaded the pitch and i doubt he even let off an uncomfortable fart.
I think any steam needs to be let off in getting behind the players, cos they are gonna really need picking up after this and sunday.

Hope he brings the right colour scarf. Must get confusing the amount of clubs he has.2
-
Liege play in red so he can use that one.0
-
Not his favourite Liege scarf though, his spare one.Bedsaddick said:Liege play in red so he can use that one.

Brilliant, lets boo all 90 minutes, that'll help the players keep us up.
Do you really think booing or a little abuse will matter to RD?0 -
Nit during game tho0
-
I was going to give tomorrow night a miss after that performance on Sunday, now i am going to go to the game and endure a hour and half journey home after the game, i think the new manager needs the backing of the fans and remember no man is bigger than the club.3
-
Think the man is a bit of a dictator and wants a yes man as manager!
But it's his club and he will do what he wants.
There is nothing that will change that0 -

But the owner is acting that way. The same way the owners at Cardiff and Hull are acting or different things.
Because as far as i can see, the whole ethos and approach by the club since the takeover is not that to the betterment of Charlton Athletic.
It is easy to follow on that point and say 'it is for the betterment of Standard Liege / his network', but i'm still not really seeing any signs of that either.

why dont you all send RD a nice little welcome card too and have a bouquet presented to him0
-
What's the point in protesting?
The owner doesn't care.
It will just get the players down.
We can't change anything anyway.
Let's just turn up at Selhurst Park and support the players...
...said absolutely nobody in 1990.
Remember, we are the fans customers - if RD is as shrewd a businessman as he thinks he is, he will care what we think.6 -
He'd also probaly point out that, despite the fans revolt, Liege are currently 6 points clear at the top of the table.ValleyGary said:I know people are pissed off and will make it known, but i really don't think he will give a flying f**k.

spot on, if we're entitled to boo, we're more than entitled to protest the owners.Jodaius said:What's the point in protesting?

Resounding chants of Chrissy Powells red and white army WILL get a positive reaction from the team I am sure.0
-
Stand up if you love Chris Powell. Easy1
-
Agreed that protest won't change this guy's mindset, but I still intend to wear my red hearts on my sleeve, literally. This guy doesn't do people, he doesn't compute emotions, he doesn't understand team spirit, they are alien concepts to his rather Aspergic/Eccentric/Maverick mind. I would hope that I'll never hurt Charlton by my actions, but what is harder right now is feeling that there are any remnants of a Charlton that I want to support.

Spot on. I intend to sing long and loud for CP and for Charlton. Negative abuse of RD on a match day can only be harmful but a positive show of emotion might just spur some players on to give an extra 10% for someone they clearly respected.Kap10 said:Resounding chants of Chrissy Powells red and white army WILL get a positive reaction from the team I am sure.
"One Chrissy Powell!"

Im going to wait for him outside and throw eggs at him1

some support for CP would be a nice gesture BUT we also need to show support for the new guy. It's not his fault CP has gone and we all surely want him to do his best for CAFC don't we?0
-
If the Belgian shows his face tomorrow it won't be courage , it will be a complete understanding of how much people can see he's screwing the club over.0
