My observation: the SYP got their priorities wrong. Helmets to protect the head, stab vests for the body, knee protectors and leg shields. But no protection at all against a good old fashioned kick in the bollocks!

No issue at all with them. A certain football liaison officer at Croydon Nick, wants to learn from this.

A certain level of policing was required. However the level of police presence was in excess of what could possibly be needed in my opinion for the fixture. This was a waste of taxpayers money as far as I am concerned.

they were alright as has been said left the coaches well alone and didnt really care if there was booze on them or not, got us away from the ground quicker than i thought and meant we all just rolled in and out

was expecting a much different approach

Had "a word" with your mates eh ?

I liked that it was the second time in two weeks they told the coach that they hoped we would win! This time not because of any potential derby!
