How about some spontaneous vomiting at 24 minutes - representing both our league position and goals scored ?

Take it you'll be doing that from the comfort of your armchair rather than at the ground.
My middle child's parents' evening tonight I am afraid, otherwise I would love to come along

Laugh. I nearly choked on my sandwich. What is going on? We need to get behind the new boss. Dickplumb has got it right. Get a grip.

    Why because you dont agree.

Can the CL twitter tweet that we're singing Jose Riga's red & white army straight after?

Why don't the people that don't want to do it just not join in rather than keep piping up with the same old chuff.

It's going to happen whether you like it or not with the majority joining in.

Your moans are falling on deaf ears so you're just wasting your time.

well anyone on Twitter (or Fbook), please RT the last @CharltonLife tweet, or just simply get the message out there.

You need a hastag silly - #powell3 isn't being used for anything else - just tweeted you

    You are better off singing
Jose riga's red and white army.
Get behind the new man and team.
Powell knows we appreciate what he did. Use your energy towards the new regime. You never know it might all work out.
    Onwards and upwards.

TBH, despite the desire to organise something, I think its more likely that there will just be something spontaneous at some un-predetermined point tonight. It might be a chorus of CP's red army or whatever but it will just happen and that's prpobably how it should be.

Knowing Charlton fans, it wouldn't surprise me if a number of people wonder where CP is after about twenty minutes...!

I'm for it. A minute of 'Stand Up for Chrissy Powell' would be appropriate, not a minute's clapping, followed by 'Jose Riga's Red & White Army'. A great send off for CP but also showing our support for the new guy who needs all the help he can get.

This seems fair enough a little thanks then move on

I'm sure we've spontaneously chanted CPs name before during an injury or something

Your right that is fair but we will see if it happens I can see constant singing of powells name if I'm honest and don't think that's gonna help tonight .

I don't think the players or Jose are naive enough to think the fans would just move on with a small show of support for Powell.

I think it is ridiculous, one minutes applause should be as a mark of respect to the memory of a person who has passed away. I honestly can't believe some of the hysterical overreaction on here to a football Manager getting sacked. I get it that he was a Club legend a very nice man but we are bottom of the table. Parkinson was sacked when we were in a play off position. There was no wailing and gnashing of teeth when he left. He was a very nice man as well. What next, hire a plane and fly over the ground with a banner trailing behind saying We love you Sir Chris.

    Anyone got a plane?

More obvious question, if you don't agree with it then why are those on this thread...?? I think the name of the thread is obvious enough....?! :/

What's the point? Powell wont be there to hear it and Roland won't have a clue whats going on so It won't have any effect.Plus the fact i can't understand why it should be done?

What if church breaks through in the 3rd minute, you all might put him off from scoring.

He will have my attention all the time, yes indeed.
It will be interesting seeing him guide us to victory.
