My middle child's parents' evening tonight I am afraid, otherwise I would love to come alongcafctom said:
Take it you'll be doing that from the comfort of your armchair rather than at the ground.PL54 said:How about some spontaneous vomiting at 24 minutes - representing both our league position and goals scored ?

Why because you dont agree.markmc68 said:Laugh. I nearly choked on my sandwich. What is going on? We need to get behind the new boss. Dickplumb has got it right. Get a grip.

Why don't the people that don't want to do it just not join in rather than keep piping up with the same old chuff.
It's going to happen whether you like it or not with the majority joining in.
Your moans are falling on deaf ears so you're just wasting your time.

nice one SE9, I'm not around much from now on so if you think this is a good idea, please help take this forward chaps and chapesses0

You are better off singing
Jose riga's red and white army.
Get behind the new man and team.
Powell knows we appreciate what he did. Use your energy towards the new regime. You never know it might all work out.

No worries, any other twitterers out there that support this idea just re-tweet the #powell3 tweet I just sentAFKABartram said:nice one SE9, I'm not around much from now on so if you think this is a good idea, please help take this forward chaps and chapesses

TBH, despite the desire to organise something, I think its more likely that there will just be something spontaneous at some un-predetermined point tonight. It might be a chorus of CP's red army or whatever but it will just happen and that's prpobably how it should be.
Knowing Charlton fans, it wouldn't surprise me if a number of people wonder where CP is after about twenty minutes...!4 -

This seems fair enough a little thanks then move onLargeAddick said:I'm for it. A minute of 'Stand Up for Chrissy Powell' would be appropriate, not a minute's clapping, followed by 'Jose Riga's Red & White Army'. A great send off for CP but also showing our support for the new guy who needs all the help he can get.

I'm sure we've spontaneously chanted CPs name before during an injury or somethingSillybilly said:TBH, despite the desire to organise something, I think its more likely that there will just be something spontaneous at some un-predetermined point tonight. Your right that is fair but we will see if it happens I can see constant singing of powells name if I'm honest and don't think that's gonna help tonight .leftbehind said:

I don't think the players or Jose are naive enough to think the fans would just move on with a small show of support for Powell.Yann897 said:

Anyone got a plane?dickplumb said:I think it is ridiculous, one minutes applause should be as a mark of respect to the memory of a person who has passed away. I honestly can't believe some of the hysterical overreaction on here to a football Manager getting sacked. I get it that he was a Club legend a very nice man but we are bottom of the table. Parkinson was sacked when we were in a play off position. There was no wailing and gnashing of teeth when he left. He was a very nice man as well. What next, hire a plane and fly over the ground with a banner trailing behind saying We love you Sir Chris.

More obvious question, if you don't agree with it then why are those on this thread...?? I think the name of the thread is obvious enough....?!O-Randy-Hunt said:Why don't the people that don't want to do it just not join in rather than keep piping up with the same old chuff.

What's the point? Powell wont be there to hear it and Roland won't have a clue whats going on so It won't have any effect.Plus the fact i can't understand why it should be done?1

You'll have to all do it now made the press.
