    It is going to be very hard to hear 'you know what you've got to do, let's make some noise and get behind the boys'.

    I wouldn't have the ability to belt that phrase out tonight that's for sure, it seems hollow and inappropriate to me somehow.

    Perhaps after the team comes out it should be 'Hi team listen up, you know what you've got to do, give something to your support, win the game to create some noise'.

    I can't believe you're even asking that question Seth. Win tonight and Saturday and we're out of the bottom three. The players tell us time and time again that a loud, supportive Valley crowd helps them. So by getting behind them tonight you're doing your bit to help us stay up. It's not up to the fans to raise the players or the players to raise the crowd, both should be doing their bit independently of each other and then when the players efforts combine with the crowds noise, you hopefully get an end result greater than the sum of its parts. Unless you're secretly hoping we lose so you can wallow in self pity for a bit longer?

    You know it was educational to start with, I never knew there could be a two way synergy between crowd and players. It was going OK until the snide bit at the end.

    I do get a little pished off being told that i need to show my support for the team. Why? Are we saying if i dont support them, they wont play? They get paid, its their jobs. They should try there best if i am there to support them or not. I dont ask everybody around me to cheer when i have delivered a baby or cut someone out of a car.
    Just get on with it, its a bonus if we do cheer. Just do your jobs and we will be happy, thats all we want.

    Not trying to be snidey Seth, but some of the stuff I've read on here over the last day... well... I've been to more upbeat wakes. You and a few others have sounded like a teenage girl after she's been dumped by dreamy Stephen from class 4B. It's all a bit mopey and a bit OTT, imho, no-one died after all.

    I have no problem with people being upset about this (as I have said, I'm upset that we've lost CP because I think his brilliant) but, in my mind, if you're there tonight then you need to get behind the team. Whatever the rights and wrongs of Roland's plan, our biggest issue right now is staying up - keeping the unrest away from the Valley might help more in achieving that than you seem to think. If/when we're safe, that'll be the time for protests against RD if it still feels appropriate.
