Booing Riga
I know, like myself, many fans did not want Powell to go but we do not support Chris Powell we support Charlton Athletic and should get behind the new manager.
IMO Riga has done nothing wrong, what was he meant to do. RD has obviously told him that Powell was getting sacked and that he wants him as the new manager.
What do you fans that booed think Chris Powell a man of such high class would have thought of booing Riga and treating him with such disrespect.
I hope you idiots are happy with your nights work !

It was just a bit of a hostile reception, it is nothing personal against the fella, it is personal against the club that is slipping through our fingers. Overall the game we were VERY supportive of the team, in what was a lack lustre team performance, had that been CP managing everyone would have been slating his substitutions, tactics from the off etc. etc.
Riga represents what RD is trying to do (even though apparently he's only here till end of season) and not everyone is going to like that. Deal with it1 -
