Id rather boo the players most of them are very poor. Hopefully Riga will get rid of some of the rubbish in our team.

Never seen a team who pass the ball backwards so much

Guys, how about you do everyone a favour and step away from the keyboard/phone until you've calmed down, eh? The petty bickering over the last day and a half has been bad enough, without people offering each other out as well.
  • looks like danoo went away Ali

    Might be a bird.
  • I think I would be useless in a fight. This morning my girlfriend said to me 'for someone who goes to the gym quite often, you're not very big' :(

Did this actually happen ? Sounds like something a hysterical observor would
Imagine. I sure didn't see/hear it but if so it was a disgrace.

Well I did ask her what she meant, and she said 'shouldn't you be more hench?'

I tried to explain to her that I have poor genetics. If in doubt, blame the parents.

Just stepping back to the original topic of this thread - controversial I know - but I don't recall hearing any booing of Riga this evening. Thought that with the exception of the third minute things were much as normal on the chanting/booing/moaning front.

I didn't hear any introduction or any booing. This however is a well known side effect of consuming too much mother's ruin! At least I got through the game without any booing of the tearful variety which for me was quite an achievement.

Wasn't at the game due to work but if i was there i'd have booed him. There is only one Chris Powell.

    Pathetic
  • There was a small amount of booing when bdl quietly introduced him. He seemed to almost run along the side of the pitch.
Got to say, it was the most understated introduction for a new face (manager or player) that I've heard.
    It was almost apologetic IMO..

Riga got introduced to the crowd and you would have thought it was a minute silence for an ex prime minister. Mostly silence with the half hearted clap and boo.

    Not surprised at all.

Didn't hear any booing, didn't here much clapping either.

    The introduction was quite discreet.

Same I thought the reception was about right. Didn't here the booing thought it was pretty quite really. I thought the applause and Chrissy Powell chants on 3 minutes followed by good vocal support for the team was spot on.
Overall the atmosphere was pretty flat but then there was only 12000 there!
