    Didn't any one approach him???

I can see Murray in the picture above. Wonder what part he had to play in it all.

Actually it read as though the reporter had lost his neutrality for a bit.

"Riga appeared to be on a hiding to nothing in front of a Valley faithful unhappy that controversial owner RD had sacked club legend Chris Powell and replaced him with an unknown Belgian...

...the 56 year old received the welcome he probably anticipated when he strode out of the tunnel, a smattering of applause and a fair few boos.

Then when the clock reached three minutes - Powell's shirt number as a Charlton player - the fans began clapping and singing his name for 60 seconds...

...as the first half wore on some of Charlton's passing had become sharper than the new manager's suit...

...In the end Riga had to settle for a point, as well as winning over a few doubters and his popularity will surely soar if Charlton can take three points from a crunch relegations clash at derby rivals Millwall on Saturday"

    Didn't any one approach

A guy next to me came right up to the front row of upper West and said he was going to shout at RD but he didn't actually come out until just after the game started.

Grown men on here not only unwilling to look beyond what's put in front of them but ridiculing others for showing solidarity and a moment of respect to a man who deserves it and yet was shown none by 2 sets of owners?
