    Jasper Carrot was great live in his early days

    Ken Dodd must be up there as all time great and although not my personal cup of Rosie Lee Eltham's very own Bob Hope.

    For me my favourite comedy entertainer has to be Eric Morcombe.
    Favourite comedy actor Will Hay.
    As for stand up comic my fav would be Frankie Howerd.

    Modern day Harry Hill and Michael McIntyre.

    Lots of comedy performers and actors I really like and too many good ones for me to really have a favourite, but Tommy Cooper jokes seem to stick in my head better than anyone else's.

    Two cannibals eating a clown. One says to the other: "Does this taste funny to you?"
    Doctor to patient: "I haven't seen you for ages". Patient: "Yeah, I've been ill".

    Funnier with his delivery, of course.

    Tommy Cooper for me. Jokes are so bad they're good, i use his jokes all the time and all my mates just beat me down as they don't think they're funny lol. But at the moment it has to be Ross Noble, i saw him live at the Apollo a month ago and i don't think i've ever laughed that much in my life.

    not to be considered one of the greatest - yet, but that woman who won that celebrity scissor hands recently, she was on at up the creek, and she was hilarious. can't remember her name tho. I think i wrote about her earlier in the year as she had to deal with a racist idiot in the front row. ninia?

    That was Lee Mack, who i thought was ace. Sean Lock (with the glasses) followed, and i didn't rate him at all, particularly the budgie sketch.

    The week before, i think his name was Michael McKintosh, he was excellent.

    A few years back I saw Harry Hill live at the Woodman in Blackfen. I still think about some of his jokes that night and laugh.

    lee mack is genius, saw him at up the creek 10 years back, cracked us up! Now he does that prog with tim vine 'Not going out' which is awesome.

    Lenny henry at the Tramshed in Woolwich which had a comedy club on a friday/saturday night was bloody Funny, got to meet him afterwards as well,top bloke.

    Apparently i have met Tommy cooper as my mum knew him and my mum went to a few parties that he used to hold, only problem was i don't remember as i attended but was too young to remember. FACT
