Wilson 8 MOTM - rapidly achieving hero status

Dervite 8 - v v good
Wiggins 6 - not his best game, put a couple of nice balls in
Reza 5 - positionally suspect, needs to play up front. dives
Poyet 7.5 - such a class act
Jackson 7.5 - had a very good game in the middle
Harriott 6.5 - occasionally neat, didn't come off though
Ajdarevic 7 - good as ever
Sordell 7 - looked very dynamic & held it up superbly, didn't take his chances though
Pritchard 6 - an improvement on Reza, kept it simple & was in the right positions. a couple of times he was free in the box & not found. clever player0 -
Hamer - 6.5 A couple of moments but also saved a couple and there were a couple of smart kicks to to the wing.
Wilson - 7 Defended well and attacked when he could.
Morrison - 7.5 Very steady. Wasn't in much trouble.
Dervite - 8 Really strong and read the game really well.
Wiggins - 6 A few mis-kicks but still defended ok. One awful cross and one sensational cross in 2nd half.
Reza - 6 Worked very hard to get back and help Wilson. Won't tackle much but at least got back to close down. Liked his nutmeg pass in the 1st half.
Poyet - 6.5 Quiet game until the superb ball over the top for Sordell. Got better as the game went on.
Jackson - 6.5 Some good tackles and kept the ball well. Corners were pretty good but I'd like to have seen Adjarevic take a couple and Jackson be in the box (a la QPR game)
Harriott - 7 Tried very very hard and did ok. A couple of good balls into the box early on and worked back well 2nd half. Tired but understandably so.
Ajdarevic - 7 Won a fair share of flick ons (which surprised me). Has a decent shot and is strong. Just needs games now.
Sordell - 7.5 Intelligent hold up play and runs in behind. Shame about the missed chance for lots of reasons, not least to help win over the home fans. Good display.
Pritchard-
Church - good, strong cameo. Gave Huddersfield a few problems late on.

Reza 5 (not got into this game, missed a good chance, needs more games)

Reza - 3 lightweight looks like a boy in a man's game despite decent shooting ability rightly withdrawn
Poyet - 6 much quieter game than he's got used to tough tackling but a few too many bad passes
Jackson - 7 fearless in the tackle and excellent engine
Harriott - 2 tellingly his best contribution was being nutmegged by Wiggins! concedes possession relentlessly
Ajdarevic - 4 decent couple of shots and almost industrious for 20 minutes then reverted to overweight work shy show pony
Sordell - 1 chases busily after lost causes but not usually switched on for when it matters & hopeless when 1 on 1 with goalie if he was worth a w@nk he'd have bagged a hatrick last night
