Hamer - 7.5 - not much to do except that good save from the free kick
Wilson - 7.5 - defended well, got forward when he could
    Morrison - 8 - covered, tackled, MOM
Dervite - 7.5 - as good as Morrison except gave away a silly free kick that could have cost us
    Wiggins - 7.5 - see 'Wilson' above
Pritchard - 7 - getting better with each game under JR (or maybe the opposition are getting worse?)
Poyet - 7.5 - effective where he needed to be, praying we have him next season (as I'm an agnostic, I suspect we won't)
Jackson - 7 - no complaints except didn't threaten their goal
Harriott - 7 - caused them quite a bit of bother but should have done better with the possession he had
Ajdarevic - 6 - one bit of great skill, otherwise probably his worst game for us
Sordell - 7 - tried hard, was there a problem between him and SCP?

Cousins - 7 - got forward more than I've seen before, obviously better in the middle than either wing

  • Does Pritchard struggle more than most on our dire pitch and the improvement in performance is down to the better surface as spring draws in?

that's it for marks, stats soon
  • Poyet stood out for you simply because our midfield gave him the freedom of SE16 to pick the ball up, turn, stroll forward for 10 yards then pass, mostly sideways.

One of our most feeble midfield displays with no bite at all. We should've got tighter to him & clattered him like you kept doing to Fred.

The thing is SLL, he's done that to just about every team he's come up against, not just you. Don't put yourself down too much...he actually is that bit cleverer than most and creates his own space!! :-)

Fair enough. Was a tepid display from us, felt we gave him too much time & could've pressed much higher, especially as you offered little up front.

Hopefully we learn from our mistakes against you in the 3rd division next year.....

Unless we both hit a run of unlikely form, I think one of us will be there, but hopefully not both (i.e. us!!)

Bit of a gap opened between you & Donny that needs to be bridged pretty quickly!
