The Match Day Experience and the world cup

Interested in people's opinions of football coverage and what a real match day experience is like.
Given the ability to actually experience something other than two sets of 45 minutes on a pitch; what would you most want to experience about say.. The world cup in Brazil?
I'm thinking of the merged voices I hear walking down from Charlton station to the valley; it's always quite strong. For a world cup game I presume it's electrifying and something quite different. Almost carnival like.
Anyway, no real point of this post other than: what would you want to experience?

Mates went Germany in 06 and said the atmosphere with other countries in the city square is what made it even better than a normal piss up watching the football. Would love to do a World Cup but its expensive.1
