Obika may not be up to match fitness yet. Only explanation I can think of.
Looks like a 4-5-1 to me with Reza on the right and Jacko or Astrit on the left. No excuses not to score goals tonight. Forest have a weakened side and ours is full of attacking players in the starting XI and on the bench. Church nowhere to be seen but he did go off injured on Saturday. Blessing in disguise.0 -

If their full backs bomb on then cousins and Jackson can cover out wide and adjeravic drops back in.
It's a formation to try at home, would be brave to play it away, especially somewhere like Forest. That said, with the players he's picked it's the only way to put round pegs in round holes.0 -
That will require a great game from both Wiggins and Wilson otherwise their is zero width in that side. However I do on the whole like that supposed line up if we do start like that.Callumcafc said:

Heard a rumour that we are frantically trying to loan Church to either Millwall, Yeovil or Barnsley, which is why he isn't in the squad :0)4

would have preferred Obika to start but we shall see how we can do v a weakened Forest team.
Obika did do well coming off the bench v Bournemouth and when here before so maybe that is the plan.

The one thing I couldn't understand was the team that Charlton play as by default; and it's that exact team... Just swap Wilson for Solly and play it 442 with Poyet on the right and Adjarevic on the left.
Not sure how they decided that was the team we generally use.
