*Only 7 games in charge so far
I will update this for the next 3 games, but makes interesting reading. For instance, Mike Bailey took over from Andy Nelson in the last 9 games of the relegation season in 1979/1980, but got us promoted the following season. Goes to show, that you must be patient and give managers time before being too hasty.

Funny that. I am surprised Mullery had such a good start - I have no good memories of his period in charge1

You forgot Les Reed.0

This would all make more sense if there were some headings on the columns, rather than just being a string of random numbers as it is at the moment. I have absolutely no idea what I am reading at the moment!!0

I think Jimmy Seed's most goals scored record might remain intact0

Loving that shirty. Come on Jose, prove the doubters wrong.0

So if we win the 3 games to make up the 10 under JR he will have the most successfull start of any Charlton manager? Even 2 wins and a draw would put him equal first. Blimey...0
-
He could be the most successful manager out on his own and do it with a 0 goal difference and the second lowest number of goals scored (I'll leave all you budding Einsteins to work out the scores we need in those three games to achieve this remarkable result).Yorkshireaddick said:So if we win the 3 games to make up the 10 under JR he will have the most successfull start of any Charlton manager? For some reason I always remember dowie having a better start with us.0
-
I wonder what this would look like if the table was the first ten games in their first full season, i.e. after they'd led a pre-season.0
-
Even if he wins the next game he will be behind Tiger Hill.
Still a good start.
Notable how he does not 'waste' goals, he uses the minimum amount of goals needed to win a game and each goal counts. Whilst this won't always be the way, it does indicate that he organises the defending of the goal well.0 -

Still unbeaten against teams outside the playoff places.
Won the last 4 against teams outside the playoff places.
Only 2 goals conceded in 6 games against teams outside the playoff places.1 -
what if they were outside the play off places when we played them but are in the play offs now ?0
-
That still counts. ;-)
The unbeaten run against teams outside the playoff places is still alive.0 -

So we have the same points after ten games as we had after 15 games in 2012-13 and 20 games in 2013-14.
Perhaps now more will see the club has turned a corner and show up on Saturday?
