    Poy-AY just seems natural to say really, but from what I gather it actually is Poy-ET. I will continue calling him Poyay though, as I am a true Englishman and need not bother myself with these funny johnny foreigner things.

    Just like I used to refer to that french chap as Yann, purely because every time I pronounced his surname I'd say it a different way ;)

    We got Pinochet's name wrong in this country for years, saying PIn-o-chay like it's French. It's a Spanish-based name and is said Pin-o-chet. Similarly, it's Poy-jet but if Gus & Diego are OK with Poyay, who are we to argue?

    So I asked Tim Vickery and he said this . I guess that really means officially in Uruguay it's Pojette but in reality it's up to Diego.
