Extra efforts to galvanise atmosphere for Tuesday's game

Something I've always wanted to see in action - pretty sure it's the J block and the H block of the NU that make most of the noise. However it's usually just the back of those blocks that stand and sing, if they could stand in the same block and take up the whole section I reckon that'd improve the noise levels and quality of the songs. Quite a lot of the times songs are sung slightly out of time and it turns into a big murmur

How would you make that happened?
Don't really know. I reckon it would just have to be something the fans up there would have to sort out pre-game. I wouldn't imagine it'd be that problematic
    Something has to change

Start by dropping Church from the 18.
Next, make sure Obika and the "AA battery" both start.
Keep that Daveeeed bloke on the bench
    Next, play a 4-4-2 or 4-3-3.

I think you will find the atmosphere improve from the kick off.

Nothing will beat the atmosphere and feel of that Ipswich play of semi final at The Valley .
If only you could bottle a bit of the atmosphere of that game. It would be priceless .

Apart from Roland's selection there has to be more the club & fans could do...

Extra drum & trumpet else where in the ground??

    Standing section in the ground?

The club allocate a specific singing area in the ground?

No music 5 minutes before the game and just have a timer on the big screen counting down to generate a buzz?

Play Reza and Obika up top with Wilson right midfield.

Aren't about a third of them moving to East block A next season? That should dissipate the atmosphere even more...

I was thinking an orchestra next to the away fans?

Maybe they could play the final song that was played on the titanic for those fans who moan a lot and do nothing about it?

Haven't heard anythin about that mate. Where's that come from?

And surely that means the end of VFR!

First things first, it would be good if every ST Holder bothered to turn up on Tuesday.

    We desperately need a win

Whenever we make extra efforts with regards to crowds, we usually go on and get tonked - be warned

Don't slag the team pre kick off , because its not the team you would pick, squad rotation and all that, even if our non scoring striker is there.

Not commuting back from Scottish Highlands so you can blame me if we lose.

Improving atmosphere short term is very difficult, long term though it would be great if we had safe standing or if a "singing section" was in the North Lower.

What would help create atmosphere would be if the players gave us something to respond to.
Sometimes it is not simply down to us to do it for the team like the Cardiff game, we could do with...I dunno, a throw in in their half to get excited about. Fist pumping and pre match crowd clapping is not enough from the players however many huddles they have, we will certainly respond if the players can give us something themselves.

Think the club have slipped up here. Two Tuesday night games during Easter holidays is a great opportunity to fill the place with £5 pounds tickets or kids for a quid offers. Its not as if we have found ourselves in this position overnight.

I reckon a ban from any females for 48 hours pre kick off, so testosterone levels are high.
  • No booing when Yeovil go 1-0 up.

How many are they expected to bring?
  • Put the home fans in the away end as that end is usually the 12th man!

I hope that is the case, but I can't help but think how funny it will be if you're going mad on your own down there surrounded by families and day trippers

Were the North Upper resting their voices ahead of the more important game tomorrow night?
