  • I understand Keith Peacock was called The Wand by his team mates in his playing days
  • We used to refer to Martin Pringle as 'The Coast Hunter', as that was the name of the Swedish Special Forces Unit that he was a member of - which upon reflection seems rather ridiculous.

Cloughie - so called because he looked like Nigel Clough - but I can't remember who it was, only that he played for us in the '90s.

My old man used to call Luke Varney, Reg.
He thought it was hilarious, I didn't get it.

  • Mark Robson-Twinkle Toes... for some reason

Twinkle Toes was used by us for Nicky Johns.
Something to do with a photo of him with Silver gloves on.
I suppose fingers and toes are pretty much the same thing when you're young...

Presumably because she thought he looked like one, Mrs cafcfan always called Mark Stuart (aka Amos) Naked Mole Rat.
