  • Yeovil have hit some form lately, they have been really unlucky by conceding late goals that has saw them throw victories away and had to settle for the odd point here and there but both Yeovil and Barnsley are playing well and you'll have to be in top form to beat them imo.
Piglet we need to be in the sort of form ur in! Oh Yeh forgot uve conceeded bucket loads since u asked us how good u lot are?

Well I'l be heading down for the Barnsley game, but confined to Shropshire this Tuesday, so it will all be about building up the atmosphere at home, Il have to dig out the play off final dvd for prematch entertainment, and randomly chant red army around the house from 5pm onwards.

Crickey Mr Bligh , is she throwing bog rolls onto the pitch as the players come out , or banging the big drum in the North upper?
  • I'll be bringing the red painted rattle I had when Cliff Durandt scored in the 90th minute against Southampton

Nothing will beat the atmosphere and feel of that Ipswich play of semi final at The Valley .
If only you could bottle a bit of the atmosphere of that game. It would be priceless .

That was as good as it gets atmosphere wise, we were in the A block of the covered end which is usually pretty quiet, it wasn't that night absolutely electric.

Thanks for the info. Will pass on to Jose Riga when I meet him in the pub later.

  • Aren't about a third of them moving to East block A next season? That should dissipate the atmosphere even more...

That would suck. I love sitting in the North Upper H Block because everyone sings.

Haven't heard anythin about that mate. Where's that come from?

And surely that means the end of VFR!

set off flares, smoke cigarettes, throw pints, stand up in front of somebody older than you, open less kiosk's.

they usually get the most noise out of cafc fans.

    I'll second that.

Maybe the Club should arrange for the goals scored at Wemberley to be shown on the Big Screen prior to kick off ?

A MASSIVE reminder of how to get behind your team & the noise generated at a MUST WIN match.

Perhaps they shouldn't test the WiFi tonight. We'll all be on it watching anything else, except our team toiling in front of goal. :-(

and turn all the hand dryers off. Armageddon wouldn't come close

Is there anything we the Charlton community on here or the club could do to make Tuesday's home game have a extra atmosphere?

Yeovil and the Barnsley game will have a huge say in our season...

We need our 12th man more than ever!!!

We could always get a 2014 version of Erica Rowe to liven up the crowd!

creating chances and looking likeyou can score goals generally improves the atmosphere - tension tends to make you go quiet!

all local pubs to drop beer prices an hour before KO. Might help if everyone got into their seats 5 mins before the teams came out
