I think he got the ball and started "shining the ball", much to their players annoyance! Haha. Right little wind up merchant ;)

The ref added 1minute to the added time for that as well!

If the ballboy was purposefully timewasting and winding up the player (who people actually come to watch), then that should be the last time he carries out that duty at Charlton.
If the shoe was on the other foot, there would be more than a few irate people on here.
There would probably be a group set up to protest for a replay.
  • Get a grip , I don't care if we get another 9 points and all the goals were penalties that reza had dived for. There is no showmanship in football anymore

Perhaps thats why i dont go as often as i used to.
  • Yes we would of been royally piss off if the boot had been on the other foot at an away ground. this thread would be full of righteous indignation, but it wasn't, we were at home, it was our steward, that's what home advantage can do for you.
May be not quite in the true spirit of the game, but good on you sir, keep up the good work

Ball boy was just being helpful. At least Hazard wasn't playing.. He almost kicked a ball boy to death and got away with it...

If I was that steward I'd of not been moved. Let the other stewards drag me out mate. I'd of gone down in a blaze of glory.

Yeovil fans saying the ref played 90 seconds too short!

More lines about the steward than reporting on the match in the mirror and a pic. Talk about over reaction.

If they do that again I hope Breamteam put a hi-vis vest on it.

Does make me laugh as if we were in league two we would hardly have any stewards or over the top security team who moved children from the front of A Block east stand at the reading game for singing at the away fans. They were not offensive or rude merely singing

Or telling a tourist to put his camera away. Things like that drive fans away.

Well that's a stupid comment, no offence mate; we all know the protest could only occur AFTER a formal survey, followed by a meeting of selected individuals behind closed doors. ;)

In all seriousness, we would be pretty peeved though.

Brilliant. Dont care if it's hypocritical as I'm sure I'd be pissed if it was the other way round but think it's great to see this kind of fight running through our club :).

Anyway, its been a pantomime all season at the Valley so they were just getting in the spirit

Refs have been so awlful down here particularly in the last 3 games. Unsure why they are deciding not to book players when they should be. It seems to be a rule at the Valley that if you an oppo player you can go down like a sack of spuds and get free kicks, yet handball, kick players like poyet etc up in the air and not even get a booking. All this ref did in the last 10 mins was having a chat with Hamer, and our thrown takers pre-warning about possible time wasting, yet not watching the constant fouls by Yeovil players, and we hid did see a fouled he waved player on seconds after we had lost it straight after the foul and should have been brought back. Another yeovil player he was putting out 5 fouls he had done, didn't book him and then moments later the same player then caused another foul. I do wonder if some of these refs are taking bribes.. controversial I know but who would have thought it with "spot fixing"
