Any news on Wilson?

Anyone know when he's due back? Have seen Morro at RB a couple of times now and he's just not cut out for it - lacks the pace and composure on the ball.
Do we have any other alternatives if Wilson can't play? Can Wiggins and Fox work?

If only we had a promising youngster that had played almost exclusively at right back until this season

    Hmmm
  • Can Thuram-Ulien play at right back?

He's talking about Jordan Cousins, but we need him in midfield.

I know he seems to have fallen out of favour massively... but didn't Evina cover for RB for a game or two during our L1 season?

No thanks would rather have Morrison left back ahead of evina.

I think we played Wiggins at RB and Evina at LB for a game or two. I wouldn't want to see that happen again with the way Wiggins avoids using his right foot as much as possible.

I would suspect it will be Nego. I think he only didn't play Tuesday was because he played Monday for u21's.

The thing is, we've got cover in the midfield area but we have nobody in the RB position and Morro clearly isn't the answer. I'd rather shove Andy Hughes in midfield and stick Cousins at RB.

Cousins at rb would be my choice. Harriott can play left and play AA centre, or bring in Pritchard.
Brighton play it out from the back and we will need to press them high up the pitch. We are going to need some fit legs Sat.

I would have Morrison at right back every single time before Andy Hughes. Hughes got skinned by L1 players at RB, there'd be nothing left of him in this league. I think Cousins connects our play between front and back and is necessary in midfield to drive the ball forward. I'd rather play Nego, a specialist right back there if we're in a pinch

We could try to convert Church into a right back. Although maybe we should try converting him into a footballer first.

Gomez is a centre half. It is a bit early for him, but as soon as he signs professional forms for us he will be a mainstay in our team. Every time I have seen him play he has been class.

give Nego another go if Wilson aint fit. He was a bit rusty at Wigan when he played but better than Morro at RB.

Didn't realize how much we missed Wilson until that first half the other night, whilst he's no Solly, he's come on loads as the season's gone on.

Maybe Nego played for the U21s to help get him match fit for Saturday, and they felt they could make do on Tuesday?

absolutely no idea why Andy Hughes wasn't used as a RB on Tuesday night, Morro definitely isn't one!

Has anyone heard if Chris Solly is likely to play again this season. As our last game is 3 May it must be unlikely but bearing in mind our last game at Blackpool could be vital, it would be great to him available for that if fit.

Nego came to the club and was then thrown in against Wigan and up against Callum McManum for most of that game I believe. That is a pretty tough call for anyone at this level. I'd certainly like to see more. Can anyone who regularly watches the U21s comment on how he has performed for them?
