Apart from that run from Cousins to set up Reza, we have been a shambles.
Sordell has been absolutely awful1 -
Reza shot deflected to hit the bar then their player not tracked easy goal.

Watching the stream Let's face it, we are total shit today. Only decent play was Jordan's run that led to Reza hitting the bar. Apart from that the only goal threat has come from Brighton.0

I think that although we are losing it is good to watch us passing it about instead of hoofing it. Brighton don't look anything special and are very lucky to be 2-0 up.2

Half time pretty even but they took both their chances we hardly made one. Nice stream but think I'll go back to the gardening.1

Brighton just have that extra bit of quality all over the pitch. They've barely got out of 2nd gear but they are leading 2-0 pretty comfortably.0

Sordell looks hopeless but generally we haven't looked terrible. It's just a rubbish game. Both sides look disinterested. No ones broken a sweat as they walked off.

They are doing what we are trying to do with alot more ease, pace and quality around the pitch. Would take a 3-0 loss to be honest, just don't let it be more.0

We shoot ourselves in the foot with a rare Poyet mistake, then hit the crossbar before they get an offside goal allowed, we are looking very average but things just going against us today, never mind, i can look forward to people saying we are getting relegated after a loss as usual, till our regular Tuesday night win.0

Don't get all the toys going out of prams. We expected to lose. I don't think we are playing that badly - one or two individual errors but we are playing way better than the last time I saw us when all we did was hoof it up to Kermy who would immediately get trapped/tripped up/kicked down until the other side would string a few passes together and saunter past our midfield to score. We will get a couple of wins and a couple of draws before the end of the season and stay up. Blackpool, Mowow and Barnsleh all losing and Yeovil having a happy time against Bournemouth, but that's a one-off.1

I didn't think Sordell looked as bad as I've seen him before really. I think Reza perhaps looks as lightweight as he did when he first came in to the team, which is disappointing. With no Obika on the bench I can't actually see where goals will come from.
Cousins made a beautiful run. Poyet may need a break, but then again - maybe it is a personal match for him. They sacked his dad by text when he was on TV didn't they? I doubt he exactly loves them.. No excuse though. Our ex players who have a grudge to bear generally make it count!
Back four haven't looked as good as they have of late, but the first goal was gifted due to a rare Poyet mistake - and the second was a very good counter attack. It's unfortunate that they're so clinical up front, and once again, we're just not.
May be writing this one off already I think.0 -

the stream is very clear.....we have had a load of mis-placed passes....but unlucky not to equalise and then they score from a massive offside.....we need to forget it and move on0

I'm not too sure as to whether te second goal was offside. Poorly defended. We haven't been great but 1-0 would have been fair0
