We have a very poor attack and these games have been against better teams who are not going to be troubled by the likes of Sordell and Church.

This is far too simplistic an answer, it can't possibly be that straightforward...

PL54 has it spot on, especially for recent games.

Is it though ? Look back through the fixture list. All our Sat wins (Leicester, Qpr, Ipswich, Blackburn I thin)k, have been against top 10 sides.

I was thinking this as I was watching the stream, we played Brighton off the park at home (for a change) and deserved to win which was a huge contrast to today's drab display. Then I remembered we had this guy who helped us out ALOT.....

    There is a correlation here.
  • I think it's to do with the squad we have.

Isn't that just proof that it's not as bad as you fear? As you might expect, we're winning less often against the better sides. It just so happens we're playing the better sides on the weekend.

Ok Callum, we are clearly poles apart on this. We've not scored a single goal since the QPR game on a Saturday, conceded 13, and only won 1 Saturday game in over five months. Yet 2 of the ones we have won have bizarrely been against two of the top three teams.

I find it both odd, and depressingly disappointing seeing as the Saturday games are traditionally the most popular games.

    We're vampires
  • Jose has a thing on Fridays where the players put their keys in the ashtray and then pick a pony player of our history and play as him on sat

On Monday he does it but you pick a legend and quality player and you have to be him

Should we play on weds it's a standard wife swap session

Surely the question should be, why has our recent midweek form been so good?
Think we are overachieving midweek rather than underachieving at the weekends.
  • When did we beat Ipswich this season... We lost 1-0 and drew 1-1

AFKA I think you are looking for a season long pattern where there are so many influences that there simply isn't one. People with stats knowledge could prove / disprove but to me the only thing which matters is continuing the WLWL streak by beating weaker teams.

I think the more valuable question is how do the owners expect to climb the table next season unless they sign a 20 goal a season striker?!

Better players will enhance all our Saturdays because pissing about with relegation will lose fans - to do it once is a misfortune but twice would be sheer carelessness*
    *thanks Oscar!
