Don't know if this has been done before, but with all the recent talk of poyet vs parker etc and the thread about the best XI based on just one moment, thought this would be interesting.

In recent times we've had Shelvey, cousins, poyet, Parker and they're all centre mids!!! Suggestions?

    Rufus, Defoe, Konchesky, Bowyer, Lisbie, Solly, Fortune, Primus, Robert Lee have all come through the academy just off the top of my head.

    Exactly the same team I've managed to put together, apart from I would have Bowyer at right mid

    *Randolph edges the Goalkeeper position for me seeing that he's playing First-Team Football and has played in Europe for Motherwell... I've included Pigott because cant think of any other Strikers... Yes we had MacDonald and McCammon but were either as prolific as Joe at Youth level?

    Thanks completely forgot about Leaburn... Now amended to add him in as he left us for a Premier League side whereas Lisbie dropped down the Leagues
