Must be your bad English or your accent. So you think you should have kept Dave jones as manager. You really seem knowledge ball in football terms ha ha you can't take the banter did I spell everything right lol

I agree with you, that Owlsonlineadmid seems a really thick sod really, he doesn't seem very knowledge ball about football lol.

We did the double over you last season..... when did you last beat us at the Valley or did the double over us?

Our away form is better than our home, so it's an easy 3 points at SW in my opinion.

I dislike Wednesday massively, although OP has won me round but the Highlight Of my season was hearing the piggys fall silent after Church scored to dump the turds out the cup

We've certainly beat you when it really mattered over the last few years though. Firstly in League 1 and then in the cup. That clearly hurt you guys or you wouldn't despise us so much.

The L1 hardly hurt us, we were not even in the POs when we played and we ended up going up, but going back to that game, you parked the bus then, that's when you were supposed to be decent, scored from a set piece then shut up shop.

The cup game, aye I'll give you that one, we just didn't turn up but it's wasn't without controversy, did it go over the line? was it hand ball? etc

Pretty sure you were 2nd or 3rd pig after our 1-0 win. And iirc we hardly parked the bus. From the minute jj scored his wonder goal the ball didnt touch the ground as your back four smashed the ball from your 18 yard box into ours. The only time the ball did touch the floor is when bwp should have made it 2-0 but weaver got his beer belly in the way.

We only parked it, for you to use on the 2nd place tour.
  • OP , go easy on us tomorrow, we need the points, lets have a truce , no gloating whatever the score :-0

Don't bring your hard luck tales here. Think you've had more than your fair share of fortune in our games:

    League last season at Hillsborough:

Kermorgant fouled when about to shoot (Johnson should have been sent off, and us awarded a penalty), and our goal ruled offside shortly after.

Or the 1-1 at The Valley this season, with Wickham's offside equaliser.

I stand corrected then, we had a few shaky spells that season but I can't remember much of it apart from being way off the pace and needing to win Sheff Utd at home to stand any chance, we did just that thanks to a super Chris O'grady goal and from that moment onwards we marched on and piped them in the end, it was so sweet.

Mendonca in Asdas, when you won us in the cup I had to take so much grief on this site and showed my face and accepted defeat, I also paid respect to Powell, although it did look OTT swinging on the crossbar.

Again, win, lose or draw I'll be back on here to share my view, lets hope there are a few more gracious posters on here if we do win, although I still think it'll be a tight affair.

You need the points and we don't, pressure is on you, but we do need to win for the cup game, after this is over all the best.

Ben18, just to let you know as I don't think you do, the Utube clip of our Wednesday fan does have learning difficulties.

Oh and it was never a pen and the goal was offside.

Wednesday are safe from relegation, they can't help but take the foot of the gas whatever facup game took place.

they can cry about us as much as they want but it isn't their neighbours lording it in the premiership , when if Wednesday had some balls they could have sent palace to league one a few years back , that was a shocking attempt at survival ....
One that we'll probably emulate against blackpool aaaaaaaaaaaaah

Palace were in real trouble on the field and financially. I watched that game live on TV. Sheff Weds let Palace off the hook. I say the defeat for the FA Cup and not getting the steel city Derby balances out for not taking Palace down.

Seeing as that result has had a direct influence on Palace now sitting 11th in the prem, I think we still owe them a few digs. If they were to roll over today and let us win 4-0 that would be a start.

Sheffield Wednesday on a good run of form? Beat an in-form Bournemouth 4-2 away in their last match with 10 men. We can't score. Looks impossible for us to get anything from the game on form. Therefore, this has got all the ingredients for a typical Charlton win!! (meant seriously ) Wouldn't that feel good later on today? COYR!!!!
