Didn't make the disappointment any less, especially after the life saving win at Villa.Bill_Stumps said:Some Wednesday fans seem to take great pleasure (or solace?) from having relegated Charlton in the 1998/99 season but that is actually not true. The team which relegated us was Southampton. They won their final game at home against Everton, making the result at Charlton irrelevant. Even if we had beaten Wednesday we would still have gone down. Sorry to take even that away from you, Wednesday fans.

God another one Marvin dn't go......it was 3-2 to Charlton, we were 2-0 up then the sunbeds came out, Jose Riga started to wave at the Wednesday fans and a Bolton player who normally gets slated on here bagged 3, mind you, he was set up by three Wednesday players each time.IA said:what was the score?

All joking aside, Llera isn't good enough now, he was okay last season but he has been awful for us this season, that said when he does move on and perhaps plays against us there will be no way we'll give him stick, or sing bad about him despite him being poor this year, so what I was wondering was why is there so much hatred for him, and why do you constantly give him stick for?

I actually thought he was running backwards for the third goal :0)ShootersHillGuru said:I feel sorry for Llera. Being so fecking slow I doubt he ever gets a sunbed at all.

LET'S ALL LAUGH AT WEDNESDAY0

So thats how you treat all your ex players that you think are shit, or does it run deeper then that with Llera/Wednesday?
lol0 -
I boo him after his massively bitter comments he made after Jacko scoring THAT goal. Claimed we were the luckiest team in the league and Jackson never scores free kicks blah blah blah!!!!! utter numpty who has been punching above his weight actually playing in the championship!!!operationpig said:All joking aside, Llera isn't good enough now, he was okay last season but he has been awful for us this season, that said when he does move on and perhaps plays against us there will be no way we'll give him stick, or sing bad about him despite him being poor this year, so what I was wondering was why is there so much hatred for him, and why do you constantly give him stick for?

Decent question actually; especially considering this forum has a "Boo or Clap?" thread for a lot of ex-players who return to The Valley!operationpig said:So thats how you treat all your ex players that you think are shit, or does it run deeper then that with Llera/Wednesday?

OP , for me Colchester away , 3-0 defeat on a cold wet Tuesday , with a incredibly shocking performance ( i think he was so bad he was subbed at half time) there was no way back for big Mig.1

Did he actually say that? fair enough then and I can understand now, but it's the first I've heard of this.C_Jensens_Love_Child said:

Llera a decent bloke and got a great spirit, got a decent cross field pass and is a good header of the ball.....but...... he has the turning circle and speed of a very slow barge (that is probably unfair to the barge). Charlton lost league one play offs due to some mistakes that Llera was part of. Llera has been beaten for pace / made mistakes that led to goals given away. Some Charlton fans remember that. He did some good things but is basically a flawed player.operationpig said:All joking aside, Llera isn't good enough now, he was okay last season but he has been awful for us this season, that said when he does move on and perhaps plays against us there will be no way we'll give him stick, or sing bad about him despite him being poor this year, so what I was wondering was why is there so much hatred for him, and why do you constantly give him stick for?

Have to feel for Wednesday's Maguire who scored today and had a message on his T-Shirt for his gran who died yesterday.
Well done to him.

They are classless.
I can honestly say that my order of dislikeness is:
1. The MASSIVE *****.
2. Millwall
3. Nigels
4. Llera2 -
Llera probably scored the most-deliriously-celebrated Charlton goal of recent years (possible exception: Jackson vs QPR this season) in that astonishing 9-man draw against Swindon. I can't hate him, because that happened, and I was there, and it was bloody incredible4

Yeah, just like all the love you give to Morrison everytime you play us. Now that's a hatred I don't understand. From what I gather, he played most games for you at RB. We saw for ourselves recently that he's no RB, but was it his fault your manager constantly played him out of position? Or is there another reason he's hated by you lot so much?operationpig said:All joking aside, Llera isn't good enough now, he was okay last season but he has been awful for us this season, that said when he does move on and perhaps plays against us there will be no way we'll give him stick, or sing bad about him despite him being poor this year, so what I was wondering was why is there so much hatred for him, and why do you constantly give him stick for?

Llera gets so much stick from me for that Tuesday night in Colchester.
A master class in comical defending, a game where he revealed his true colours. A criminal offence that he actually got paid for it and I had to pay to watch it.
Then the comments about us and JJ when we beat you (again).
The man is a joke.0 -
probably best to stay away from the hole that is hillbrough...had some fat inbread follow me around after the game offering to 'kick my head in', would say i wont be returning after that but seeing as we always get the three points will be there next year (because thanks to you we are staying up!!!)operationpig said:
Apparently Jose Riga didn't wave to the Hardy 200 because he was stunned at the lack of support lolO-Randy-Hunt said:Yea owlstalk are much more complimentary

After such a fantastic performance I'm suprised Llera wasn't swinging from the crossbar at the end of the game..................1

The only good thing about llera is his height but he's got no talent0
