Let me get this straight. He is drawing a pair of shoes... On canvas or a phone cover. That sounds about as "novel" and niche as a bicycle for fish.
Having looked at it, he is very good to be fair.0 -
I thought this was going to be about fetishes....
Good luck to Tom hope it kicks off (pun intended) to a success.2 -
Not my cup of tea but to some people the work of Banksy is just graffiti to others high art.
Each to their own.0 -
What sizes?0

Visited his web site and although I am 55 and rarely wear trainers I can appreciate the merit of the art. Will tell my kids (mid 20@s) and they may well appreciate it.1

Investment maybe?0

Nice work, you should send images direct to nike. Mark Parker started off designing shoes and is now the CEO of nike.
I have a friend that was well into Adidas gear and now designs products for them pretty much by doing the same kinda thing1 -
Thanks for your kind comments, anyone with grandchildren will know what great pleasure you get from them as they grow up. Thanks for the reminder superdulverton, they do make a great present. If anyone has any specific ideas, I'm sure that Tom can oblige.0

To be honest I can't see the appeal there - wouldn't people want art of their trainers, not the other way around, if anything? - but he clearly has good artistic talent, good luck to him.0

I am......as my name suggests.
I'll take a look. Thanks1 -

Just had a look - he'd do better (in the football fraternity at least) - if he had some old terrace casual Adidas in his portfolio.
I quite like the style of the work though.1 -
It's the terrace/ old school stuff that helped the guy I mentioned, his name is 'a guy called minty' on FB and InstagramSuedeAdidas said:Just had a look - he'd do better (in the football fraternity at least) - if he had some old terrace casual Adidas in his portfolio.

Trainers ?
I have just come to terms with Coaches instead of Managers.0 -
Thanks SuedeAdidas and shine 166, I am passing on your comments which I am sure will be interesting to Tom.0

Yeah, I can see this really taking off if he had a number of the trainers sad middle class blokes wore back in their teens. I can see it being a massive market actually.SuedeAdidas said:Just had a look - he'd do better (in the football fraternity at least) - if he had some old terrace casual Adidas in his portfolio.

I'm thinking of the Nike Wimbledon, Bruin, any of the 80s suede Adidas trainers and the Diadora Borg Elite If my assumption is correct and that the canvas 'pictures' are £20 I can't see why he wouldn't make a killing.
In fact, have him check this link out and see if he can do much with these. He might even want to approach the site owners and see if they want to sell his artwork on their site. It would be a shame for his talent not to make some money.
