I see Poyet's average is head and shoulders above the next Charlton player. Good validation of his player of the year award :-)

Just out of interest, going back over previous seasons statbanks, how many times has the top average mark gone on to be nominated as player of the year?

    Great job Lancs

Now, I don't want to reignite that tired old debate, but Yann's numbers do not obviously show that he was our best player across the months he played (though not denying his contributions either)...

Same for the past three seasons then. Semedo won Player of the Year in 2010/11.

The 09/10 Statbank was won by Semedo, while Christian Dailly won a dubious PotY award

Thanks very much to Lanc Lad for his sterling efforts through the season, we'll now get our heads down at try and get the Annual Bumper Statbank out in the next week or so.

Racon? That's interesting considering most slate him on here. 100% accurate otherwise.

Great player that a poor manager like Parky couldn't get the best out of. Poor player Parky kept on when Powell took over. Now playing alongside one of his replacements in Danny Hollands...

Didn't expect him to have to drop down to League 2, but then he neither a goalscorer, a creative midfielder or a ball winner. Never really sure what sort of midfielder he was.

2010/11 was one of those seasons when the POTY award should have been cancelled! 13th in L1 below the likes of Rochdale and Exeter...

Not sure I'd agree that Racon was a great player, Scoham.

He had ability on the ball - a decent 1st touch and passing.
But his decision making was suspect, he played for himself rather than the team.

IMO he too frequently showed a lack of desire and a poor attitude on the park.

Parky may or may not be a poor manager.
But it must have been frustrating for him to have a player that couldn't be arsed.

Racon is playing in the bottom half of League 2 for a good reason.

I wasn't being serious! When Parky failed to take us up it was apparently down to his poor management of good players.

Once Powell came in the same players weren't good enough.

I agree on Racon. Had he worked harder perhaps he'd have scored and set up more goals. He didn't get in the positions often enough, even playing alongside Semedo who would sit back to let allow Racon to get forward.

To think Pardew brought him in to be a potential Premier League player... do wonder how much he/his scouts actually watched him play. Not the only Pardew signing that could be said for either.

Just for the record Semedo won the first Statbank in 2009-10 with an average of 7.08. Racon came 6th with 6.56. Dailly, Bailey, Burton and Elliot were all judged to be better.
