Is John Barnes the only former Charlton player to appear on a number one record?

World in Motion is probably the best football record, indeed I've heard it (cutting out before the John Barnes rap) in European discos, treated as a New Order song!
Three Lions is probably the best football song, hearing Wembley singing it throughout Euro 96 was amazing (while hearing the German team singing it was painful!)

World in motion, absolutely hands down. I just like that song, regardless of any football connections. Three Lions obviously took off on the terraces and captured the mood of Euro 96 well but if you listen to it in isolation it's actually a pretty mediocre record if you ask me.

Interesting that the last two times we've have halfway decent songs are the last two times we've actually looked a threat in tournaments. Who's down to write this years song?
