I don't have an account with any bookies so would be grateful if someone could advise best odds to toddle along and have a tenner on us playing in the premiership 2015 / 16, thanks

Probably won't be any odds available until after the play offs and they know who is in the division.0
-

When you say "bookies", we are actually talking Skybet - who are never usually looking to lay a decent bet anyway !ValleyGary said:Bookies are playing it very safe with them odds!

Sky bet have a vested interest anyway being the sponsors of the league0

14/1?! Yeah, alright!0

Would donate £500 to a charity of CL's choice if we get promoted this coming season, quote me on it.. but it won't happen :-)2

40/1 is worth a nibble1

Odds on promotion.
Blimey they are confident about where will finish next season. ;-)0 -
Wow, they think Bournemouth will do well.0

Just had a look and the most popular bet (43%) is on Charlton at 14-1.
Is that from here as I don't suppose there is much betting action going on at the moment.0 -
That skybet book is truly shocking....skanky odds all the way down. If you want to punt on charlton you will surely find better odds than 14/1 from other bookies.
Blackpool at 22/1? Hey? Should be 50s because it wont happen

Best to lump on now before we make all our big name signings in the summer...2

It is promotion not to win it.calydon_road said:That skybet book is truly shocking....skanky odds all the way down. If you want to punt on charlton you will surely find better odds than 14/1 from other bookies.

Statistically odds of promotion 8/1 as 3 up out of 240 -
MrOL - I did consider that but I would still not expect the worst ranked team to be 22/1 %in am eight horse race...when the favourites are 3 or 4/1 then I think that book is uncompetitive.0

The book is massively overrun (2.5 times!!), even without any allowance for the five teams excluded, i.e. Norwich, the three sides in the Play-Offs who won't make it and the League One Play-Off winner. The odds stink at this stage. I don't think there is a single price which looks remotely attractive.

Statistically it'd be 7/1.MrOneLung said:

No point bookies making it 'attractive' at this point in the season - the real money will come in once it starts getting going.0
