Curbs to return?

  • CAFC has moved on in so many ways over the course of this last season. I can't see how a manager from the past returning is going to solve anything, even if they are good at what they do. Whoever comes in as head coach will have to work in the way that RD wants and it's more of a continental style of management, and I can't see Curbs fitting into that mould.

But please not DiCanio. Too confrontational for all the wrong reasons in my humble opinion.
  • I can't see Curbs coming back: surely he's waiting for a bigger club than us. Also, given his principled stand at West Ham, would he sign up to Roland's regime? And if he didn't achieve the success of his first tenure, wouldn't his return inevitably be judged a failure?

I'd be very surprised if Curbs is content with playing golf, TV punditry and an advisory role: he's still young and lively. But why hasn't he landed a plum job since the Hammers?
  • Curbs wouldn't come back to us because our owners will not give him funds, probably only players he would like to give us are players who cant get a game at Standard,i just hope I am wrong but I have this horrible feeling we are going to get very pissed off
  • Who wants beans on toast when you have got steak and chips at home!!

Get over curbs...He is in our history. and you never go back when you have done such a good job before. Because when it all goes wrong people never remember the good days..

    remember bad press sells papers!!

    Ask David Moyes
  • would love to have him back to be honest, people saying he could not work with RD forget how much him and gritty had to spend when they took over, he could do it again.
  • Curbs would not want to himself.
